Spend 5 days in one of the most tranquil and beautiful places in FNQ, while being inspired by a team of experts who will offer: daily physical activity sessions, healthy cooking demos, lifestyle wellness coaching, onsite massage therapy, workshops....and much more. You will become totally immersed in the tranquility of the rural rainforest setting and gain insights and knowledge about the tools you need to transform your body, mindset and life when you return to the everyday. Daily activities include relaxation sessions, lifestyle wellness coaching, onsite massage therapy, healthy cooking demonstrations, and work-life balance coaching. Meet the Experts....
Ross has well over 20 years of industry and competition experience, and currently works as the Director and Head Coach at Phoenix Elite. He competes professionally in Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. He has earned a Purple belt in BJJ, Pro Boxing record of 10 wins and 0 losses, Pro MMA record of 9 wins 4 losses. In addition to such outstanding athletic achievements he has an impressive background in fitness, physiology and science, which includes a Degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Science. He also holds certifications as a Strength Coach, Recomp Specialist, Certified FMS Instructor, and Qualified Personal Trainer. He spent much of career as the regional manager for Fitness First, managing and opening clubs nationwide at the peak of Fitness First days. He has a long list of coaching and consulting experience.
Laura is a certified fitness professional and currently works as Director and Coach at Phoenix Elite. She embraced physical fitness at an early age , which has led her to follow her career passion in fitness and coaching. With a well established and impressive career in the fitness industry she has worked for: Zest Health Clubs (Membership Services & Frontline Manager), Genesis (Operations Manager), and Careers Australia (Administration role). She is a qualified Personal Trainer, Recomp Specialist. A dance and fitness competitor herself, she is dedicated towards bringing out the best in her clients and currently coaches several competition teams:
Dr. Bruce Wells has an extensive background in the areas of health and wellness, motivational psychology, and leadership. For over twenty years he has worked with school children, elite athletes, and corporate groups motivating and sustaining individuals to strive for performance excellence. An international speaker and author, he instructs health, wellness, psychology, and professional development courses for corporations and academia. His recent book "happiness" was released in 2014.
